Terrific Tuesday

Welcome back everyone! I really hope that you all enjoyed the long weekend.

We will be taking a break from snuggle up and read. A lot of the students have expressed interest in reading their own books at home, and a lot of my own books have gone missing. I have sent the binders home if you would like to continue this at home :)

Visual Art: Today we learned about lines, and how we can use lines to create art!

HWT: pgs. 68 – 69

Math

Addition and subtraction! Students were given counter, and had to make various addition and subtraction stories! They continued to work on this in their Math Makes Sense: pg. 156 – 157

UOI

As our inventions unit is coming to an end, we wrapped up today by learning about frisbee and the popsicle! We then played a game based on these inventions.

Spelling

We did not have a spelling test last week fur to the Macbeth play. Students were given new words this week, which they wrote 3 times, along with creating sentences. Then worked in their spelling workbook.
