Reading Comprehension
I am focusing on reading comprehension today with the students. We read, “LOVE, SPLAT” as a class. Then we talked about what happened in the beginning, middle, and end. Then we went through comprehension centers together. The students had 10 minutes to work at each center. The centers dealt with understanding the problem and solution of the story, a retell, a Venn diagram of characters, and a self to text connections.

Novel Study
We read our novel study today, and the students got to make a birthday card for Eeyore!

Have a wonderful Weekend everyone.
