This Friday, April
24th, 2015, grades JK to 4 will be going bowling as our final event
for the Spring Fundraiser. In order to participate in this event, every child
must have a minimum of $35.00 raised, however can absolutely raise more! If the
student chooses not participate, he/she is still expected to come to school for
a regular school day. I hope to see all children show some St. Jude’s School
Spirit J

I would like to do
another cool craft with the kids next week for art! I am asking that children
bring in an empty carton of eggs so we can make caterpillars!

that the students bring in their research to school, as we will be filling out
our research booklets in class. If they do not have their booklets, they will
have nothing to work on.

Visual Art
Today we talked
about poems and then read a poem about a ladybug! Students got to write their
very own poem about an animal of their choice, and then got to work on making
their own ladybug! They look great.

Math Makes Sense
Today we went over
some concepts regarding 2D figures from this unit. We reflected on this unit as
a class, and students got to worn on their review. We will be working on our
the review for today and tomorrow, and take it up as class, so students can study
tomorrow night!
Unit of Inquiry
Summative Work – Please continue working on
this at home.
Spelling
Students copied
their weekly words from the board 3 times, and then made sentences with each
word. They then practiced using these words in their spelling workbooks.
