Welcome back parents! I hope that everyone enjoyed the long weekend! This upcoming Thursday is the science fair here at St. Jude’s! Parents are welcomed to come and check out the science fair projects ay 2:30!

Please take a look at our summer camp programs offered here at St. Jude’s. It is an amazing program this year with lots of fun activities! I know there are a few students who have not yet registered for next year. I know there are only a couple spots left for both grade 2, and grade 3.  If you have not registered and would like to come back next year, PLEASE do so soon.

Math 

Grade 1

Today we reviewed the main concepts from unit 10!! The students were great, and ask questions they didn’t understand regarding the material. They worked on the review in the math books, and seem very ready for the test tomorrow!

The grade 2’started to learn about division today! We reviewed how to divide things equally!

The grade 1’s and 2’s uses the UOI time to work on their science fair!

Spelling

Spelling:

-Students write out spelling words 3 times (cursive) in their notebooks. They write sentences for each spelling word.

-Complete spelling workout pages. 137 – 140  

Grade 2

Spelling:

Students write out spelling words 3 times (cursive) in their notebooks. They write sentences for each spelling word.
