Welcome back everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Check out our reminders for the week:

Reminders

1.    This Thursday, December 11^th, the Caroling Club will be heading to a retirement home to spread some holiday spirit!

2.  Wednesday, December 17^th, 2014: CHRISTMAS CONCERT at 7pm! The students are asked to wear black pants and either a plain red or plain green top. We are also asking that the students wear suspenders, as they are dressing like elves! I wanted to let everyone know in advance, so you have plenty of time to get these items!

3.    This year, we are also performing the Christmas Concert during the day on Tuesday, December 16^th, at 11:45am.  Everyone is more welcomed to come and watch either performance, as we would like all parents see the show!

Math

Today students learned how to conduct a survey! The survey dealt with what the students eat for lunch! We did the survey as a class, so the students were able to see the proper guidelines, then they completed their own graph and booklet.

UOI

“What if everyone wasn’t organized!” As a class we discussed what we have learned about organization so far, and how it affects different parts of our life. Then we talked about what would happen if everyone weren’t organized! The students thought of different scenarios.

Novel Study

Winnie the Pooh: We read chapter 3 as a class, and did a class retell!

Spelling

Lesson 14: Students copied down the words from the board 3 times, and created sentences for each word. Then they completed pages in their workbooks.
