Reminders:
1.     This Thursday, December 4th, 2014 is Parent Teacher Interview. The schedule is in the agenda pocket! Please check your time!

2.  I also wanted to remind all parents that the interviews are only 10 minutes long. Please be on time, as I have a pretty tight schedule this year! Thanks for your help.

3.   Caroling Club - Field trip on Friday, December 5th, 2014 - If your child is apart of caroling club please be sure to send them to school with warm clothes! If you have not yet sent the permission form, please be sure to do so before Wednesday.

4.  Wednesday, December 17th, 2014: CHRISTMAS CONCERT at 7pm! The students are asked to wear black pants and either a plain red or plain green top. We are also asking that the students wear suspenders, as they are dressing like elves! I wanted to let everyone know in advance, so you have plenty of time to get these items!

5.   This year, we are also performing the Christmas Concert during the day on Tuesday, December 16th, at 11:45am.  Everyone is more welcomed to come and watch either performance, as we would like all parents see the show!

TAKE A LOOK AT OUR DAY!

French – Mme. Stella

Dramtic Art – Mr. Monaghan

Gym – Ms. Lovan

Math
Today we started a brand new unit! We began by brainstorming what we already knew about sorting (which ties in to their UOI unit). Then, we looked at the big math book together and discussed some sorting rules we noticed in the pictures. We went over the MMS pages together, and the students completed their work in class.
MMS: pgs. 103

UOI
Yesterday, the students had a great time planning their trip to MEXICO! Today, we took it one step further, and the students got to plan their very own party! I really got to see their personalities come out while they planned their parties!

Language!
DAILY 5 CENTERS! We worked on a bunch of different Christmas centers. Students got a chance to work with phonetic blends, practice Christmas sight words, reflect on a story, and work on a word search! They had a great time doing this today.
