Reminders:
1.     See everyone tonight for Parent-Teacher Interviews!

2.  I also wanted to remind all parents that the interviews are only 10 minutes long. Please be on time, as I have a pretty tight schedule this year! Thanks for your help.

3.   Caroling Club - Field trip on Tomorrow! If your child is apart of caroling club please be sure to send them to school with warm clothes! If you have not yet sent the permission form, please be sure to do so before Wednesday.

4.  Wednesday, December 17th, 2014: CHRISTMAS CONCERT at 7pm! The students are asked to wear black pants and either a plain red or plain green top. We are also asking that the students wear suspenders, as they are dressing like elves! I wanted to let everyone know in advance, so you have plenty of time to get these items!

5.   This year, we are also performing the Christmas Concert during the day on Tuesday, December 16th, at 11:45am.  Everyone is more welcomed to come and watch either performance, as we would like all parents see the show!

TAKE A LOOK AT OUR DAY!

French – Mme. Stella

Dramtic Art – Mr. Monaghan

Gym – Ms. Lovan

Math
Today we continued to practice using graphs! We practiced with skittles, and then we described our graph using the proper mathematical language!

UOI
Today we reviewed the story “Messy Room” that was read yesterday. I really want to focus on retelling, so we continued to work on the handout that was done yesterday. We shared our comments as a class, and discussed the importance of organization in a story.

Cursive
Students learned how to properly write the letter “s” in cursive.
HWT: pgs. 42 – 43

Novel Study
Winnie the Pooh: I wanted the students to re-due their letter writing, as I found the students were a little confused about the format. We went over this together, and the students wrote a letter to Christopher Robin, giving him suggestions on how to get Winnie the Pooh out of the hole. We then finished reading the rest of the chapter.

See you tonight!

Ms. Rossi
