We have a VERY busy next few weeks, so please take a look at the important dates listed below!

Please check out upcoming announcements:  

1.   Toronto ZOO! Permission form and money due before May 28^th, 2015.

2.   Toronto ZOO Trip: Thursday, June 11^th, 2015 (We will be leaving at 9:00am. Don’t forget that students will be carrying their own lunch bags this trip! Please send them with a backpack and shoes that are comfortable for them. Students should also be wearing sunscreen and a hat!

3.   Track and Field TOMORROW!  

Wednesday, May 27^th, 2015: Summer Gym uniform for next Track and Field!

4.   UOI SUMMATIVE! The habitat that is made for the animal is done at home! The only part we are working on in class is the written information that will be presented with their animal.

5.   I have changed the in-class spelling BEE to Monday, June 1^st, 2015!

6.   Thursday, June 4^th, 2015: Spelling Bee for grades JK to 2 begins at 9:00am!

7.   ARTS NIGHT: Wednesday, June 3^rd, 2014: Starts ay 7:00pm! Students will wear all brown! If brown is too hard to find, then students can wear black.

8.   Casual Day: Wednesday, June 10^th, 2014 (this is also graduation day so students are invited to dress up)

9.   Graduation Day for Grades JK – 2: Wednesday, June 10^th, 2015: Begins at 2:00 pm

Today in math, students worked on a review in class for grade 2! It was a recap from the major concepts we worked on this year! Students can keep for next year for their new grade 1 teacher!

Unit of Inquiry

We continued to work on our summative project today in class.

Novel Study

Today we recapped the major events from chapter 4. Then students answered reading comprehension questions.
