We have a VERY busy next few weeks, so please take a look at the important dates listed below!

Please check out upcoming announcements:  

1.   Toronto ZOO! Permission form and money due before May 28^th, 2015.

2.   Toronto ZOO Trip: Thursday, June 11^th, 2015 (We will be leaving at 9:00am. Don’t forget that students will be carrying their own lunch bags this trip! Please send them with a backpack and shoes that are comfortable for them. Students should also be wearing sunscreen and a hat!

3.   UOI SUMMATIVE! We will begin working on our summative this Thursday, May 28^th, 2015! I have sent home a letter stating the details for this summative today! Please take a look, and remember that the research information is due on THIS THURSDAY! If your child does not have information, then he/she will have to work on this at home. The habitat that is made for the animal is done at home! The only part we are working on in class is the written information that will be presented with their animal.

4.   I have changed the in-class spelling BEE to Monday, June 1^st, 2015!

5.   Thursday, June 4^th, 2015: Spelling Bee for grades JK to 2 begins at 9:00am!

6.   ARTS NIGHT: Wednesday, June 3^rd, 2014: Starts ay 7:00pm!

7.   Casual Day: Wednesday, June 10^th, 2014 (this is also graduation day so students are invited to dress up)

8.   Graduation Day for Grades JK – 2: Wednesday, June 10^th, 2015: Begins at 2:00 pm

Visual Art: Practice for Arts Night!

We spent a lot of time on this today!! Please sure that students are dressed in all brown! If brown is hard to find, they can also wear all balck!

Unit of Inquiry

Today we spent a lot of time on our UOI booklets we are completing in class! We are taking the information about our animals, and filling in a booklet that the children will use to present!
