Today we used this time to finish up our mother day activities! We REALLY love our moms in this class!!

We organized all our work completed over the past few months!

Unit of Inquiry

We continued to learn about ponds. We specifically looked at frogs and their need for ponds. After, the students had to write about the frog, and we completed a “craftivity” to go alone with our frog fact.

Novel Study

We completed our chapter 3 comprehension questions.

Journal

We started our journals today since we ran out of time yesterday! We continued to work on our persuasive writing today in order to practice for our OWA assessment next week. Students must finish journal over the weekend if not completed!

Spelling Test!

Topic: Most parents don’t let their kids paint anything on their bedrooms walls. Write a convincing letter to your parents explaining why you should be able to paint your bedroom.
