Hello everyone! Just a reminder that next week will be ANTI-BULLYING week here at St. Jude’s! In order to bring awareness to this very important topics, the students are encouraged to dress in as much pink as they can find on Monday! BOYS AND GIRLS!!

Please take a look at our summer camp programs offered here at St. Jude’s. It is an amazing program this year with lots of fun activities! I know there are a few students who have not yet registered for next year. I know there are only a couple spots left for both grade 2, and grade 3.  If you have not registered and would like to come back next year, PLEASE do so soon.

Math 

Grade 1

Today in grade 1, we learned about symmetry! The students learned that this mean that an object as equal parts. They had to recognize what objects had symmetry, and then they had to draw the other equal parts to objects!

The grade 2’s reviewed what they have learned about measurements so far, and did their review work in their workbooks!

Today in UOI, the rest of the grade 1’s presented their UOI summative!

The grade twos also presented their summative!

Language

Today the both grade 1’s and 2’s worked on their language skills in their Language workbooks.

We continued to work on our Arts Night Presentation.

Novel Study!

The grade two’ completed a worksheet about chapter 1! These were comprehension questions regarding the Chocolate Touch! Then, they had to draw a picture of what they thought the doctor character looked liked!
