Welcome back! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!

Please take a look at our summer camp programs offered here at St. Jude’s. It is an amazing program this year with lots of fun activities! I know there are a few students who have not yet registered for next year. I know there are only a couple spots left for both grade 2, and grade 3.  If you have not registered and would like to come back next year, PLEASE do so soon.

Math 

Grade 1

Today in grade 1, we reviewed time! We reviewed the hands and what they mean, and how to count properly in relation to time. We did examples as a class.

Grade 2

UNIT 9 TEST!

UOI

Grade 1

Today in UOI, the grade 1’s worked together to brainstorm the definition of “habitat”. Then as a class, we reviewed what a habitat means, and thought of our own definition for it!

Grade 2

 The grade 2’s finished off their presentations. They used a lot of this time to complete their math test.

Language

Today the both grade 1’s and 2’s worked on their langauge skills in their Letter and Sounds workbooks.

We continued to work on our Arts Night Presentation.

Spelling

Grade 1

Spelling:

-Students write out spelling words 3 times (cursive) in their notebooks. They write sentences for each spelling word.

-Complete spelling workout pages. 125 – 128  

Grade 2

Spelling:

Students write out spelling words 3 times (cursive) in their notebooks. They write sentences for each spelling word.
