Our Day
French – Mme. Stella

Visual Art
Today students continued to work with primary colours. They first made predictions about mixing colours, then they used primary colour pastels to fill in birds we will use to decorate the classroom.

Gym – Ms. Lovan

Math
Today in math, the students continued to learn and practice patterns, while solving problems. The class had to work together to solve how to finish a more complicated pattern. We went over the necessary steps needed to solve to problems, then they continued to practice this in their workbooks.
MMS: pgs. 13 – 14

UOI – Unit of Inquiry
We are now moving on from Relationships to Responsibility. We brainstormed what that was as a class, and then we watched a short video on different types of responsibility. In their journals, students wrote down 3 things they are responsible for, along with a picture.

Cursive Writing
As a class we went through the letter “a” and the letter “c” in cursive, and the students practiced this in their workbooks.
HWT: pg. 9

Writing
The students are continued to practice sentences. They worked on centers that dealt with telling, asking, and exciting sentences. Before we did this, we reviewed how to write a proper sentence.

I hope that everyone has a fabulous weekend!
See you on Monday,
Ms. Rossi
