Math 

Grade 1

The grade 1’s practiced their math skills in their arithmetic books. They worked on problem solving skills, addition and subtraction, and telling time.

Grade 2 

We began our new unit today! Students will be learning about different shapes, and how they are used to make structures. We looked at a picture of structures, and talked about the position of all the shapes.

Grade 1

Today the students learned about the telephone. We went up to the smart board and watched a video about the telephone. They later designed their own telephone in their journal.

Grade 2 

The grade 2’s are continuing to learn about the origin of the Olympic games! They are really enjoying this unit.

Language 

Both grade 1's and 2's worked on their phonics today in their Language workbooks.
