Math 

Grade 1

Today we learned how to conduct a survey! We learned that it is asking questions and sorting our results. We did an example in class, and the students practiced in their Math Makes Sense workbooks.

Grade 2 

The grade two’s practiced their math skills in their arithmetic books. We are learning about fractions now!

Grade 1

The grade ones finished their telephone activity from yesterday! Then we watched movies regarding the television, and discussed this invention as a class.

Grade 2 

The grade 2;s continues learning about the origins of the Olympic games, while filling out worksheets to add to their workbooks.  

Language 

Both grade 1's and 2's worked on their phonics today in their Letter and Sounds workbooks.

Novel Study

We finished reading Chapter 7 in our novel today. Then, the children designed a pocket for Kanga! Then as class we discussed what happened in the beginning, middle and end.
