Good evening parents! I just wanted to remind everyone that the author visit will be happening on Thursday, November 26^th and parents are more than welcomes to come and listen to the story and what the author has to say. If you are not busy, it would be a great experience!  Take a look at our day;

Math

Grade 1

Today in math class the students had completed a math assessment.

Grade 2

Today the grade 2’s completed the review pages in their math makes sense. Then, together we went through the math review and they worked on this. The math review is due tomorrow, and we will take it up tomorrow, and the students can ask me any questions they had trouble with.

The grade 1’s presented their dinosaur projects today in class.

Grade 2

The grade 2’s completed their final drafts today and they will be presenting tomorrow.

Language

The students practiced their phonics in their Letters and Sounds workbooks.

Novel Study

Today the students got a chance to write their letter to Winne the Pooh! They had to write him, and explain how Winnie can get out of the rabbit hole! They had a lot of fun with them J
