Hope everyone is having an excellent night. Take a look at our day;

Math

Grade 1

We reviewed counting by ones, finding the missing addend, identifying coins, writing before and after numbers by 1’s, subtraction, addition, and solving word problems.

Homework

Students will complete Arith.1 pgs. 77-80.

Grade 2

As a group we went over the math review together, and we talked about any concerns they had. This was a great review period, and I really feel the students feel more comfortable with the material.

As a class, we listened to the rest of the presentations. This was great because the grade 2’s got to preform for the grade 1’s, and the grade 1’s got a chance to perform to the grade 2’s.

Language

Both grades practiced their phonics in their Language books.

The students also got a chance to reflect on their year so far, and then they filled out their report card comments.

Novel Study

The grade 1’s and 2’s finished their letter to Winnie the Pooh today!!

UOI Binders

At the end of the day today, we went through our work binders and students picked out their best work, the work they tried their hardest on, and the work they need to improve on. This all went into our IB binders! We will be doing this throughout the year J
