Good morning everyone! I just wanted to remind everyone of the Gala, which will take place on February 22, 2014. Its going to be a great, and I really hope to see you all there :) The lunch forms for February are due Thursday, January 23^rd, 2013. On the form it says that it is due on the Friday, but that is an error. Sorry for the inconvenience. Take a look at our day.

Grade 1

Today the grade 1’s worked on their math skills in their arithmetic workbooks.

A2: pgs. 121, 123-125

Grade 2 

The grade two’s learned how to make and read bar graphs. In groups, they conducted a survey, and will graph it tomorrow during class.

Grade 1

Today the grade 1’s learned about their brand new unit. We talked about the central idea, and how inventions were created because of certain problems that occurred. They brainstormed as many inventions as they could.

Grade 2 

The grade 2’s began to participate in olympic games today! They all tried to say a tongue twister, and they competed against each other's countires. They had a great time doing this! 

Language 

Both grade 1's and 2's worked on their phonics today in their Language workbooks.
