Good evening everyone! I just wanted to remind everyone of the Gala, which will take place on February 22, 2014. Its going to be a great, and I really hope to see you all there :) Tomorrow the tickets for the Gala go up to $75 dollars! Please be sure to send the money tonight, its going to be a lot of fun. Math 

Grade 1

The grade ones worked on their math skills in their arithmetic books. (addition, subtraction, problem solving)

A1: 114 – 116

Grade 2 

The grade two’s continued to learn about probability. We played another game in class, and discussed the probability of winning. When the game was completed we related the answers to our predictions.

UOI

Grade 1

The grade 1’s used this period today to work on their summative projects. The grade 1’s began to assess their problem, and how organization can solve that problem.

Grade 2 

The grade 2’s also worked on their summative projects today. They are building their very own structures!

Language 

Both grade 1's and 2's worked on their phonics today in their Language workbooks.

Novel Study

We read some pages in our Winnie the Pooh novel. Then we talked about funny vs. honey poem, and compared them together as a class.

Cursive Writing

Both grade 1's and 2's practiced their cursive writing in their HWT workbooks.
