Good evening everyone! I just wanted to remind everyone of the Gala, which will take place on February 22, 2014. Its going to be a great, and I really hope to see you all there :) The tickets for the Gala are now $75. I really hope to see you all there! Math 

Grade 1

We reviewed making number stories. In groups, the students made number stories together using both addition and subtraction. Then they worked on this independently in their Math Makes Sense workbooks.

Grade 2 

The grade two’s worked on their addition, subtraction, and problem solving skills in their Arithmetic workbooks.

Grade 1

The grade 1’s used this period today to work on their summative projects. The grade 1’s began to assess their problem, and how organization can solve that problem.

Grade 2 

The grade 2’s also worked on their summative projects today. They are building their very own structures!

Language 

Both grade 1's and 2's worked on their phonics today in their Letter and Sounds workbooks.

Language

Today is Martin Luther’s King’s birthday! We talked about what he did, and why he is so important. We read a book pertaining to this topic, and the students wrote a reflection.
